By downloading, installing, or using beQRious ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

beQRious is a QR code safety scanner that analyzes the content of QR codes and provides a safety assessment. The App checks URLs against known threat databases and applies heuristic analysis to identify potential security risks.

Important Disclaimers

• Not a guarantee of safety. A "safe" verdict means no known threats were detected. It does not guarantee that a link, phone number, or other content is free from all risk. New threats emerge constantly.
• Advisory only. All warnings, recommendations, and verdicts provided by beQRious are advisory in nature. The final decision to interact with any QR code content is yours.
• No liability for user actions. beQRious is not responsible for any consequences resulting from your decision to visit a link, call a number, join a WiFi network, or take any other action based on or despite the App's assessment.
• Threat data limitations. Our threat detection relies on third-party threat databases and on-device heuristics. These sources may not cover all threats, and false positives or false negatives may occur.

Permitted Use

You may use beQRious for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to conduct automated or bulk scanning
• Attempt to bypass any security measures or access controls
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, including premium features, at any time and without prior notice if we detect abuse of these terms or conduct that threatens the integrity of our services. Any use of the App for commercial purposes without prior written approval is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate termination of service.

Premium Features

beQRious may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store terms, as applicable.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with beQRious are the property of beQRious and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, beQRious and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages from visiting links, downloading software, or sharing personal information as a result of scanning a QR code.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
